The Genesis of Doctored Plants

Doctored Plants was born from the combined expertise and shared passions of Dr. Jeff Angel, an esteemed Orthopaedic Surgeon, his daughter, Stephanie Welch, a dedicated nurse, and his son, Justin Angel, a brilliant biological and environmental engineer. Dr. Angel, with his precise hands and keen eye for detail, spent decades mending bones and improving the lives of his patients. Stephanie followed in his footsteps, cultivating her own path in the medical field as a dedictated Nurse Executive with a Master’s degree in nursing and a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology. Meanwhile, Justin pursued his interests in biological and environmental engineering, earning a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Arkansas and a Master's from John Hopkins University.

Beyond the sterile corridors of hospitals and the cutting-edge labs of engineering, the family found solace and joy in the vibrant world of houseplants. Their mutual love for rare aroids—plants known for their unique beauty and intricate care requirements—became a shared hobby that brought them closer together.
